Stanislavski, Constantin - My Life in Art (Published in by The Folio Society in 2000. Actor and co founder of the Moscow Art Theatre, Stanislavski achieved considerable fame, both during his life and after, for his fabled system of dramatic technique. The book recounts the events, experiences and encounters with amongst others Tolstoy, Gorky and Isadora Duncan. First published in 1924, this lovely version by Folio, introduced by Simon Callow has 478pp plus 16 pages of photos, all in a bright red slip-case. )
