Taylor, Meadows - Confessions Of A Thug (Published in London by The Folio Society. 1974. Edited with an Introduction by Brian Rawson. Drawings by Clarke Hutton. Originally published in 1839, this novel was Meadows Taylor's first book. It deals with the practises of Thuggee in India and was written, the author tells us, "to make the public of England more conversant with the subject than they can be at present".Hardback)
